One year after « Seul. », it’s time for me to release something new : « NONEXISTENT »
It is a twenty-minute track, that can be divided into a couple of movements.
On the basics of « Seul.», one of my oldest composition has reborn, in a different form.
There’s always that « Industrial/Sludge/Doom » metal corpse, but with even more ambient soundscapes, and massive electronic beats (at least I tried).
The concept behind this track is the succession of « Seul. », and the track « je te cherche » (following you).
After experiencing loss, and suffer from grief, we are powerlessly contemplating epochs which multiple emotions come and go, to the point we feel some sorts of uselessness or meaninglessness, distracting us from reality, making us « nonexistent ». For those who have experienced it, it’s hard, but necessary, to go forward, whichever the form of the following existence.
Spiritually inspired by David Lynch (TWIN PEAKS SEASON 3), Albert Camus (Le Mythe de Sisyphe), Franz KAFKA (In der Strafkolonie) along with my personal experience, of course.
Musically inspired by Godflesh (always), Cult Of Luna, Amenra, Omega Massif, (and most of the posthardcore scene) as well as SALEM, Radost Moya, Franhover Diffraction (and the witch house legacy, specially the russian ones). And last but not least, the dark-ambient scene with a special « take a bow » to the label CRYO CHAMBER, for the wonderful library of delicious dark-ambient tracks available.
lyrics
"neither darkess, nor light, only me ... nonexistent"
